Multidisciplinary presentations, exploring the intersection of neurodiversity and music

We are excited to invite you to our inaugural Neurodivergent Music Studies Conference.

Our virtual event is held by the Neurodivergent Music Network (NMN), a CHASE research network established in 2026. It is a cross-disciplinary hub for neurodivergent researchers to explore the intersection between music and neurodivergence, sharing ideas and methodologies. Our mission is to support our members’ work while collectively establishing Neurodivergent Music Studies as a distinct and rigorous field of studies.

The Neurodivergent Music Studies Conference will offer presentations, a paneled discussion, an open dialogue, and engagement with asynchronous papers.

This two day conference is an opportunity for researchers, academics, and everyone from all different aspects of their careers to connect over a mutual research interest: music and neurodivergence.
