A mixtape of light, sound and discovery

BSO: After Dark is a new collaboration between Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and the Turner Sims’ Assistant Producers. This unique concert is themed around journeys, both journeys within the self and journeys beyond our planet.

The concert features film soundtracks, and pieces that transport the listener, including works by Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, and Arvo Part. Special Guest artist Baby Panna will be performing original spoken word alongside such music as ‘Bundle of Joy’ from film Inside Out, 'Venus, The Bringer of Peace’ from Holst’s ‘Planets’, and ‘A Change is Gonna Come’ by Sam Cooke.

This immersive concert with atmospheric lighting will reimagine what classical music can be, exploring how music and words can be used together to create a tapestry of human experience and wonder.
