Electrifying double bill from two of Australia’s most boundary-pushing solo artists
Classical Unlocked heads to the Eagle Inn with a double bill of two boundary-pushing Australian solo artists.
Now based in London, cellist William Jack draws on his background in jazz guitar to create a distinctive, groove-led approach to the cello, blending rhythmic playing with intimate, melodic writing.
Joining him is Melbourne-born violinist, composer, and vocalist Xani Kolac. Her live sets combine violin, voice, looping, and genre-crossing songwriting to create layered, immersive performances.
Together, they bring two very different but complementary solo sets, sharing Australian roots and a love of pushing their instruments in new directions, in an up-close live setting.
