A late-night candlelit recital

Hannes Minnaar completes his atmospheric, candlelit traversal of Shostakovich’s magnificent tribute to JS Bach. Tatyana Nikolayeva, the great Russian pianist for whom these pieces were written, described them as “24 masterpieces, each with its own internal world”.
