A lunchtime performance in London Transport Museum
Enjoy live performances from some of London’s most talented young classical and jazz musicians, set against the unique backdrop of our iconic collection.
As part of the Museum’s work as an education and heritage charity, we’re equipping young classical and jazz musicians at the start of their careers with real-world performance experience. In turn, offering you a unique musical experience as part of your visit.
On selected Friday afternoons from February to October 2025, the Museum will be hosting a performance from one of ten young soloists/ensembles that are part of our musical programming. The up-and-coming young musicians each have an individual approach to classical and jazz music-making and are still students at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, or Trinity Laban.
Join us on Friday afternoons for the Museum’s Transported by Culture: Music programme, where you can experience the stories of London and its transport history, whilst enjoying a musical performance from a future rising star.
